chu san is so not a good day for cross-country.
because you worry about it through CNY. and because.. it's not a good day la.
oh well, i'm glad it's done (: even though my position was ewww, and the running ain't that great, i'm thankful for it. cos there's always something to learn about everything, uh huh. i guess it's how you look at things and whether you're willing to listen to Him.
so i wasnt feeling all that happy with myself. and i wasnt feeling at all happy with this girl standing at the corner near the finishing line. she went cmon people! finishing soon, just chiong and die and no one will care!
i assure you, if i were much fitter and wasnt half dead then, i would have shouted back you so good, you run la! OHH temper temper.
then quiet time came, and i thanked Him for bringing me through. considering my attitude before, i guess it wasnt a whole-hearted thanksgiving, was it? do you call it a reflex, or a program i dunno. it's bad, badbadbad. then the girl came to mind, my position came to mind. and the little prayer i made before the run, and during the run came to mind. and it just clicked, you know. snap of the fingers, and you see light. wow, Father thank You so so much (: You never give up, dont You.
i thank God, for running the Ultimate Race. the race only He could run, the race He didnt need to run.
so that i can run my tiny race. my smallsmall race.
He's not only at the finishing line, or at some remote corner shouting chiong-and-die-no-one-will-care. He's running beside us, every step of the way.
i ask myself. why did i feel disappointed. why did i feel angry?
sometimes, the things we say and do and think are sooo stupid. sigh they're embarrassing. and that's all to say about that.
hohum. i have an econs essay due tomorrow.
