we say things we dont mean, withhold the important.
i think the 'road less travelled' is too crowded. maybe we should take a plane or a boat. climb a tree, swing. better yet, build wings and fly.

why happier? that was a weird statement, but it's true nonetheless. yea i'm happier, and i have no idea why. ok maybe i do. make a list! (quote mr chow who is i-almost-cant-stand-it FUNNY)
#1 japan is coming up! whee i love overseas trips, especially the kind where you sit this massive machine and it zooms you all the way to where you're supposed to go. i love airplanes :)
#2 i've been doing homework! and to date, i only remember sleeping to TWO econs lectures. oh and i've been doing econs homework, which is a 84739% improvement from last year. totally
#3 i passed mock napfa! which means no third period PE for the rest of my life unless i screw up the real napfa. ahaha thank Him, i really think He gave me a major shove while i was attempting to jump >165cm. sheesh i'm shorter than that la. but no complains.
#4 exercise releases endorphins(spelling?) which makes you happier right? haha even though it doesnt really seem to make me fitter, cos i'm still halfdead after running in sch. but still better than nothing :] note to self : run faster.
#5 i dont know. OH oh because we're watching a show for GP. which means tomorrow's three-period lesson will be fun and entertaining. and eye-opening i guess. we're watching City of God. reminds me of how blessed i am to be born in singapore, so blessed.
i've been thinking about this alot. so many people think that physics-geog-econs-math is a terrible combination to take. but i tell you, they have so much in common.
- physics helps me with atmosphere(geog)
- math helps me with physics. vice versa.
- i study economic geog (uh huh, so it's like sitting for the same lect twice)
- econs has a whole lot of math. trust me.
- math is everything, i really believe.
ok maybe i just needed to convince myself. but really, doing arts and science together is not bad at all. whee i cant believe it's been a year since i was losing sleep over results. ahahahaha most things are better with hindsight. i assure you, in one year's time, i will be here ranting about how afraid i am for the As. -laugh.
PSC's talk was yesterday. it sounds impossible

i finished my econs essay heh. and i wasnt late. AHAHA :)
but i finished it during phy geog lect:/ sheesh atmosphere is scary because it is so like physics, and because you cant see winds. no choice man, psycho is the way to go. quote joyce "my brain is full of wind la". uh huh.
AND WE ARE SO GONNA DIE IN TAKASHIMAYA BECAUSE WE ARE TOTALLY GREEN. AND LOUSY. CRAPPP.
whee guitar is getting more fun. cant wait for japan(!!).
oh and to mingdao (if you read this, that is)
simultaneous! heh i didnt check the dictionary. was reading a book in the bus, then i remembered about the challenge. so i started looking out for the long words, which got me pretty woozy and i had to re-read pages cos i saw only words, not sentences. heh but it was fun :) so many times, you'll spot words with every vowel except one! gets so unbelievably (just like this one!!) frustrating! BUT when you find ONE word, waaaa everything is worth it. hee thank you mingdao :)

hm it really bothered me then. but i guess i cant do anything to change it. besides, it's freedom of expression and speech and doing what you want here aye? most of the time at least. oh yes, i think photos are best when there's a comment made by the photographer. sure a picture says a thousand words. but to me, say what you like about your photo, talk about the event, describe the scene, and i'll see more than the picture. it's worth so much more, i think :) question, why would you want a picture to say a thousand words? wouldnt it be better if it doesnt say anything. BUT everything here is personal. and that's the best part. aye?

because you worry about it through CNY. and because.. it's not a good day la.
oh well, i'm glad it's done (: even though my position was ewww, and the running ain't that great, i'm thankful for it. cos there's always something to learn about everything, uh huh. i guess it's how you look at things and whether you're willing to listen to Him.
so i wasnt feeling all that happy with myself. and i wasnt feeling at all happy with this girl standing at the corner near the finishing line. she went cmon people! finishing soon, just chiong and die and no one will care!
i assure you, if i were much fitter and wasnt half dead then, i would have shouted back you so good, you run la! OHH temper temper.
then quiet time came, and i thanked Him for bringing me through. considering my attitude before, i guess it wasnt a whole-hearted thanksgiving, was it? do you call it a reflex, or a program i dunno. it's bad, badbadbad. then the girl came to mind, my position came to mind. and the little prayer i made before the run, and during the run came to mind. and it just clicked, you know. snap of the fingers, and you see light. wow, Father thank You so so much (: You never give up, dont You.
i thank God, for running the Ultimate Race. the race only He could run, the race He didnt need to run.
so that i can run my tiny race. my smallsmall race.
He's not only at the finishing line, or at some remote corner shouting chiong-and-die-no-one-will-care. He's running beside us, every step of the way.
i ask myself. why did i feel disappointed. why did i feel angry?
sometimes, the things we say and do and think are sooo stupid. sigh they're embarrassing. and that's all to say about that.
